Will went down through a combination of Togetic's Shadow Ball and Scizor's Night Slash.
Koga really doesn't like Ninetales.
Bruno's Machamp was a bit scary but a combination of Lanturn's Discharge+Confuse Ray saw me through.
Karen required a bit of switch management to prevent Houndoom setting up Nasty Plots. Gengar was her penultimate Pokemon, I had Ninetales out and used Will-o-wisp to get a steady source of chip damage away, then I switched into Hitmonlee and Blaze Kicked it. Houndoom went down from one Hi-Jump Kick.
I only used one Pokemon for Lance - Lanturn. Set up 2x X-SpA / X-Def and went to town with Discharges. I know some people consider x-items cheap but a) pre-Gen VII they only raise by one stage and b) I only had about 3 of each on me, I didn't stock up on shit loads of them and breeze through every difficult fight. Not that bothered about creeping past the level cap slightly as Lance is a cheating bastard himself with his hacked Dragonites.
