I'll humour you though. Let's look at Fennekin. Again, pretty big head, too big in my opinion with a dumb looking snout. But what they did with it is rather clever. The ears are immense and fluffy, offsetting the size and making it seem not so bad, taken altogether. Then the neck, spindly, but attached just fine. In Fennekin you can see the issues that we have now, they just haven't fully metastasized. You could say similar things about Litten by the way. Although Popplio and Rowlet both escaped by design.
The real reason there are a bunch of people who really don't like the new starters is that all three of them basically suffer from the same problems.
