Gen 6 buffed Knock Off into being one of the top 10 non-signature moves in the game and then also nerfed everything else about Dark types with Fairy. Now Dark is just Knock Off: The Type.
The one and only positive Dark type special attackers have seen since getting nerfed is that they can now hit Steel types for neutral with Dark Pulse.
