I recently had a bad bout with depression after some things in my personal life started falling apart, and I had to really unplug as much as possible from the internet and spend time getting my mind right. It's not easy, and I'm still working on it, but it's amazing how much of a change you see in life when you really take time to assess your shortcomings and come up with ways to deal with them.
I know it may seem like the internet is the only place you have to retreat to when you're down, but there's something to be said about shutting off your devices and reading a good book for a little bit, or going for a walk in a local park, or going on a long drive with no particular destination in mind.
Change your daily routine; look into hobbies you've never let yourself take that initial leap into, get back in touch with those friends you haven't seen or really talked to in a couple years.
The world we live in is overwhelming and it gets to everyone sometimes, and some are hit harder by it than others. Just know that no matter what happens, there's so much good in life and you're capable of making changes in your own even if it looks almost impossible right now.
