>>48169433Wattson as usual proved to be an asshole. I tried leading Wattson against him to conserve Brawly's HP, but Thunderbolt failed to kill after 2 hits, he healed, and then randomly blew up at full HP. That hurts, though it is more than a bit funny that Wattson killed himself in more ways than one. In more seriousness, Wattson is one of my better team members and that's a rough loss to swallow, especially considering how many strong Water/Flying trainers are in this game. Still, Brawly came in and with Guts + much better stats as Hariyama, took out the rest of his team easily.
I then took the opportunity to grab the rest of my team members for quite a while and grinded them up for Maxie/Flannery.
>>48169531Tropius is definitely an interesting mon to use, I feel like Camerupt isn't as useful as Breloom for the rest of the game however. At least you won.
>>48170146Ivysaur is one of the best ways of getting past Misty who's probably the hardest boss in the game, I wouldn't just write Grass off. Fearow and Pidgeotto are also good long before Dodrio and Fire types struggle to even learn Flamethrower (you need to keep Growlithe until level 50 or something ridiculous). Dunno if I'd call Fire the worst type in the game but I do think Charizard is easily the worst starter.
>>48170394You still have tons of good mons left and you're past really the hardest part of the game before the E4. Just regroup, refocus, and consolidate your options.
>>48170726Cursed death for a cursed game. F
>>48171435Is your Storm Silver randomized? I'm sorry for your loss but I think you could have planned better. Having Metronome as part of your win strategy and using things like Nidorino this late in the game is extremely risky.
