The fact people are replying to OP seriously genuinely worries me a bit.
Anyways, while we all love pokemon it is nice to see people accept that, sadly, no pokemon has pushed itself far enough to truly be the defining game of that year. I would say some are pretty good and some of the better rpgs of their respective release years, but never a defining game.
