>>23018061While that's true (we still don't have Greek mythos Pokemon yet we got mons based on more obscure mythos), in hindsight I actually like it that we got him in Gen 6. Most of the design sensibilities (feathers, overall aesthetics) would probably not be implemented prior to the current gen.
