Trying to "preserve" the "original" feeling of doing it, so currently grinding out EVs and trying to keep track of them without hacking. Already basically broke on that though. Had to hack in an Eon Ticket cause I forgot I should try for Latios (though given the bugged roaming IVs and how tedious it'd be to reset for that nature, probably for the best). Then had to throw up PKhex to check its EVs after losing track during training. Then hacked in another Earthquake TM for Metagross because I also forgot to make sure to hang on to that while playing the campaign.
But in general, trying to keep things "pure." Not hacking in IVs or even EVs or moves (aside from TMs). So far a reminder of how tedious this all is. Latios itself, even with how much the Eon Ticket makes resetting simpler took forever to get a decent set of IVs with the appropriate nature. Makes me wonder how necessary being even only this efficient is necessary for the Frontier.
