>>39820400If you blacked out the first two stages it'd be a coin flip on which one was which. Here is a good example of "just getting bigger" done right. It Nidoking is literally just a bigger nidorino who is just a bigger nidoran. But Nidorino gets stockier, more reptile shape, it's features become broader and it's mouth goes from a rabbit lip to a full faced lizard jaw. Nidorina is the same, except even it's stance changes and it's forelegs become arms. Then Nidoking/queen are an extension of that where it's just the same thing standing up, but it has different relative proportions, scales, colors, and facial features.
That is a platypus, the same platypus with a blue stripe, and that platypus with a longer torso. I don't even dislike it, I'm just pointing it out.
