Are there really people who were surprised by them bringing back Seals or even following Pokémon? I mean, aside from people who didn't play the originals.
For such a mediocre game, bringing back original content like Seals, Underground and Union Room and expanding the following Pokémon feature (beyond Amity Square) wasn't even the bare minimum they could do
The same can be said about customization, which still end up being worse, as you can't customize each piece separately as far as we know. And yes, it was ORAS' failure to not have it
The only thing really "new" they've brought so far is the Underground expansion and a bigger dex (more fire types to use)
That being said, I don't mean to sound rude, but it still surprises me threads like this

Most likely nothing like Battle Frontier or Distortion World, but something like Mega Evolutions being in or something like Let's Go's Secret Techiniques (for those who didn't play it, in other words it would alleviate HMs problem).
