latest species I've completed, based on shed skins and gorgons, middle stage is more of a bridge between the two other stages since I realised that the visual gap between the base and the final stage was too great.

Having flames as the crest of a helmet is a cool visual feature though and can definitely be bult upon further by giving the next stage a more ellaborate helmet.
