If point values are too high to use say Arceus, Kyogre, and Scizor on the same team, people will just scrap together a regular OU team.
How do they even decide what is worth how many points? You think a community full of retards will know how to properly point things? You think a community as horrid as /vp/ can come together to do things like rationally vote on a community poll?
I fail to see how this will "promote" diversity and not just eventually turn into a regular old tiering system.
