HGSS are hugely overpriced for anyone trying to get their hands on them today, and B2W2 are just as rare and uneccessarily hard to get. But I own them both and played them both when they came out.
Alot changes in 10 years, the Pokemon fanbase has grown exponentially. Each new game is always going to sell and sell and sell, no matter the quality. Gaming is mainstream, and Pokemon is massive. But I know sales meant nothing back then and mean even less now. I'll always know I was there to play the real games, the best games, the games that mattered. And no one can take that away from me.
