and not every pokemon with a setup move can take two sludge bombs from a roserade ten levels above it without dying. this was solely an attack-boosting move, no sp. def. boosts, and the drapion took those hits on the nose, no specific EV training involved.
drapion's a fun pokemon to use, and certainly a nice departure from using goddamned legendaries and pseudos. seriously, challenge yourself sometime, you might actually have a good time
