Really fucking tired of this mindset (primarily on Twitter) that it can’t be that GF is lazy and incompetent. That it’s just impossible for a game dev to not be passionate and skilled and hardworking. That they must be rushed or understaffed or something.
And it really drives me crazy because I’ve met lazy incompetent plumbers, carpenters, architects, cleaners, cashiers, teachers…. Hell, most of my coworkers are lazy and incompetent.
But game dev is this magical place where that is simply impossible? Get the fuck out of here.
