I know I carefully checked the hi-res renditions and they looked spot on to the actual leaks having been based on them, so creating the images part was definitely true and was not bullshit in any sense of the word. He also had plenty of evidence to prove himself, although the leaks didn't exactly have the paint splatter behind these and he only added the splatter later on or still had a PDF and took out the splatter layer.
The guy probably's speaking the truth, but if there's a chance he rused us somehow, I just can't see how. His story seems pretty clean asides from his dubious nickname, which we know nothing about, which apparently he implies that we can find him with, but might be completely irrelevant.
