God damn it. This is gonna be one of those "if only" scenarios where Ash would clearly be the strongest trainer at the league, if only "that" trainer didn't happen to show up. At least he will not lose to a character introduced exclusively for the league with the sole purpose of existing to defeat Ash. And it looks like Ash will actually make his best run ever this time.
