Playing through the remakes reminded me how fun an idea it is to teamup with a unique looking NPC and explore with them even if it is short. Are there any roms that build on that idea and let you journey with a friend if you want? Like a npc childhood friend that you can manually tell to go hang out at home if you want a change.
