Gold VC, just beat the Kanto gyms and I'm making my way to Mt. Silver. Need some suggestions for a Red team, my team is slightly underlevelled save for a few, Snorlax is a recent catch and hasn't seen much action but I know I can build him into a god. Somehow my starter got overlevelled but I'm picking this back up after ages of not playing so I have no clue how that happened. What I do know is I definitely need to improve my movesets.

I also have a Noctowl and Heracross in reserve right now. As well as a hunting dog Smeargle build with False Swipe, Spore, Mean Look, and Thunderwave holding Quick Claw, but he's a catchmon not a combatmon. Caught an Ursaring on Victory Road but might be a little late to start her training. I could also train this Houndour and replace my Arcanine with her, but that might take too much time. I also have every legendary except Lugia which could give me an edge but that's cheap. I do plan on at least catching a Larvitar when I hit Mt. Silver and maybe training that up for a Red team.
