>>52256819>What did it do right?Giving us some fucking freedom for once is something I appreciate, instead of being constantly handheld by the plot and missing all the goobers saved for late game. For once it really feels like YOUR special adventure, and you get to decide how to run things for a change.
>What did it do wrong? If we subtract the Ubisoft tier bugs, pisspoor landscape N64 graphics and performance issues that would make minecraft on a nokia look like flowing water, the Paldea region is the most phoned in experience to date. You can practically TASTE the christmas deadline on this game between the ghost towns, empty shops, pokemon just standing there, and the lack of any side content that other installments had. Nobody lives anywhere and the gameplay is ungodly slow compared to the swift pace of PLA. Hell, even the POKéDEX entries feel like they had the SOVL sapped out of it save for Tinkaton. For an open world game it does not feel lived in at all and I think thats a great shame for such a videogame. I think GF really struggled to make ends meet with it and just said "fuck it, they'll buy it anyway" (which was 100% correct btw).
I give ScVi a "Jesus christ put it back in the oven"/10
