They're the first box art legendaries to be shown to have a friendly relationship, like close siblings, and I found it charming - that and the guardian motif they both gave off.
As either of them I imagine us having lived in our home region for hundreds of years, looking upon the coming and going of different humans and Pokemon, seeing the region develop and then fall apart due to conflicts. We'd keep our distance from the humans, having had experiences with the ill-hearted ones trying to take advantage of our strength, but we would watch over and protect our home region and Pokemon during their time of need. And maybe someday, if we were ever to come across a human with a good heart we could lend them our power too.
We would be legendaries wishing to preserve the beauty of our home, and ensuring that the Pokemon here live happy and free from abuse. We could spend our days and nights living simple lives as siblings, maybe even maintain a hidden sanctuary only for Pokemon in the far reaches of the Galar region where no humans could ever disturb us, a place where those mistreated by humans can live out their lives in peace.
Most of this, of course, is speculation, as we have no real idea what the true nature of these two is. Just wishful thinking.
