I also don't think Ming-Ming needed to leave at all. While people have their own tastes and preferences for what they like in the stuff posted here, Mingposter himself was inoffensive and nice to others when discussing both her and other OCs. It's not just him, the Adelineanon, Murdochanon, and the guy who made Dusk/Dawn/Star are all other examples of fun regulars to engage with and talk about because they're all lighthearted and enjoy both their fans and the other OCs.
Rissy's a different story though. If you try to tout yourself as being better than everyone else even ironically, of course people are going to shit all over you even if your character is, as he says, "the shit". I don't bother talking about Rissy myself because her creator simply isn't entertaining or fun to engage with.
