Thunder Wave and Grass Knot might be iffy, but their distributions dont seem to have any patten and go to a bunch of shit.
Grass Knot is basically "trip that nigga": the move and realistically can go to anything with limbs. Aipom, Chimchar and the shitty gen 5 monkeys get it as well, so it's not unknown for simians to use grass knot.
Thunder wave is just weird. It can go if you guys really don't like it, but it really is distributed practically at random. I mean you got Durant, My mom's dog and Remoraid for... reasons? The only other simian to get it is Ambipom.
My reasoning for flash cannon was the reflection on the bling, since that shit is a big part of its design. That one might not sit well with you guys though.
