>>16205618>Banning pokes with little community input (Blaziken and Gengar)Those pokes usually dont require a whole month for suspect testing. You already know where theyre going.
The rationale for most OU bans are that they make more Pokemon usable for the current meta.
As a direct result of Blaziken, we saw Talonflame skyrocket in usage. And most peoples teams become centered around just Blaziken and so on.
>Strange choices (Why was Blaziken banned, when only speed boost was OP? Before you say "to avoid complex bans" then why was drizzle + swift swim banned?)>only speed boost was OPYeah, because you certainly see Sharpedo and Ninjask wrecking teams, right?
>Power-hungry mods and circle jerking users (I realize this happens on all non-anonymous communities, but it's pretty strong on Smogon, especially Showdown)/vp/ isnt exempt from this criticism either.
>Censorship (I've seen posts get deleted that follow all the rules, presumably for having a disagreeable opinion. Since I don't have any proof for this, feel free to not count it)Some people just have really shitty opinions that are easy to pass off as trolling.
