I hate gen 5 mostly cause the artstyle is atrocious to look at. The lineart, i.e. the edge of the sprites is fucking disgusting. Way too thick and jagged and them moving around is just dumb.
The region is also shitty. Pathing and layout is trash. Way to linear. It also sucks as a whole when it comes to variation when compared to something like Hoenn especially, but even Sinnoh and Galar are more diverse.
I dislike how there are too many pokemon introduced that gen and how too many are near facsimiles of gen 1.
The only, ONLY things gen 5 has going for it is music and """characters.""" But I can get as good or better music from other gens and better characters in mystery dungeon 1/2.
