So this treads a line between /tg/ and /vp/, but I need some advice. Going to be running a game of Pokerole soon, and I was wondering what the best type for the first gym in a not-florida region would be, particularly given the current starter choices are Litwick and Rhyhorn out of the 3 players I have (last guy hasn't given me anything but that's fine, we literally started talking about it yesterday but two of them had some picks right out of the gate). I'm considering Bug, given the whole region is covered in swamps and there's going to be Yanma everywhere as well as the fact gym 1 is usually easy mode so if at least 2/3rds of the party have type advantage it would be a way to ease them into the system (none of us have played or run pokerole, so I need that as much as them), but that still leaves 7 Gyms. The league will work more akin to an anime, being a tournament where the grand finalist faces the Champion for their title rather than having Elite Four.
