And trading in ingredients for shards has an awful conversion rate. If you were actually trying to get shards, then Dream Magnet is way better for that. Even if you somehow got 21 Slowpoke tails (impossible, but let's just say), you sell those for 14 shards a piece, getting 294 shards. Meanwhile Dream Shard Magnet gets 1,200 at an equivalent level.
