At the end of the fight against King William and Prince Pierre, King William's legendary Fakemon suddenly triggers a Mega Evolution out of nowhere, sprouting wings and biting the heads off of the king and his son before flying off to the giant railgun to consume its power. Alex and Dasein head to the central propaganda broadcasting center and hijack it to let the citizens know that they are in danger and need to GTFO from Graxum. As the army arrives, Alex and Dasein flee to the mountain where the railgun is located to fight the Fakemon. Things trend in its favor until Fug comes out of nowhere from the sky and attacks it. Fug and the Fakemon duke it out for a bit, before the Fakemon gets the upper hand. Fug tells Alex and Dasein to hold it off while it goes into the sky to Mega Evolve. They do so, and then Fug comes back with a vengeance right before the Fakemon achieves Maximum Power. Then, out of nowhere, a fake UB (pic related) comes in that Fug has to fight off as well, eventually succeeding. Dasein goes on to become the first president of Graxum while Alex leaves to challenge the Unova league. There was also supposed to be a celebratory party with Steven Stone and Cynthia vacationing in Graxum for some reason. That's as far as I got. This was scrapped for being way too much of a shift in stakes and tone.
