Even if there WAS an actual trainer in this intro, the screen clearly focuses on something high above them coming out of the swirling vortex and ROARING.
Like, you want to freak out over the water, but you're ignoring the blatant action lines that come out afterwards.
There has to be a large object covering at least the center of those lines for it to make sense.
It's going to be the final ultra beast fight, likely with big bad crab.
