After it, I'm asked to help the couple with the broken home; their keys were thrown in the bottom of a pond. I had to get an Old Rod and use it in the lake to retrieve the keys, and in return I got a key item that, when in the front slot of the party, raises all your team's defenses.
Also forgot to mention that earlier I got a similar item that serves to raise wild Pokémon's levels for easier grinding.
