Specimen #: PKMN-479
Object Class: Safe
Containment Procedures: PKMN-479 is to be secured in its containment chamber at Site 18, with approximately four cubic meters of solid earth surrounding its container; chamber is to be disinterred only when providing weekly rations of 10 D-Cell batteries. Electronic devices are prohibited within a 50 meter radius of containment chamber.
Description: PKMN-479 is an anomalous incidence of sentient plasma, similar in structure to ball lightning. It appears to nourish itself with electrical energy, and has the apparent ability to enter electrical devices and "possess" them, greatly improving and weaponize the device via unknown means.
PKMN-479's primary actions when outside of containment or heavily suppressed testing are invariably destructive; its activity ranges from effectively harmless nuisance to highly dangerous malfunction, with the potential for hazard depending on its current device possession.

Experiment H
Selected Device: Toaster Oven
Procedure:
PKMN-479 possesses device. PKMN is initially cooperative, and amicably assists in the toasting of several slices of bread with D-Class. However, 479 becomes restless after ten minutes, and drastically increases heating intensity of the oven. Within thirteen seconds temperatures reach over 400 degrees Celsius; visual contact with PKMN and D-Class is lost as camera is rendered inoperable due to heat. Temperatures recede to safe levels in three hours and thirty-seven minutes; 479 has vacated toaster oven, no trace of D-Class is visible, and all slices of bread are lightly toasted.
