got pic related in Clover after 98 resets via buying them at the Game Corner, it even had better IV's than the same pokemon I was already using so that was nice.

Once I gave up on shiny hunting one of Unova's starters in White because I wanted to focus more on playing the game. Might also drop shiny hunting via egg hatching methods for a shiny Emelgy in Clover too.

I freeze and I focus most of my attentions on the shiny and making sure I save the game once I got it.

Once I did a reset by accident when I got Chikorita as a shiny in SS, continued shiny after that and got a shiny Totodile in the end.
