trying this again, now i'm going to take actual breaks so i don't get tired and fuck up and make tons of easy mistakes. chose elekid as the starter this time as i think it's the best and got surprisingly similar captures, everything went much more smoothly, only spot of bullshit was the rival getting freeze hax on magatsuhi during the cerulean fight. really not a fan of how many hax strats bosses use in this game, having to sit through brock's vulpix's hypnosis and confuse ray lottery anymore might make me drop this sooner rather than later just to get to ren plat, feel i will win on this attempt though barring huge bs
