Predetermined Pidgey encounter on route 1 (that I didn’t know was mandatory until a year ago) was also shiny for me, but my dumb ass accidentally clicked run instead of switch when one of my mons fainted and I was crushed lol. rip 10 year old me, you were not ready for the golden bird just yet
