Having the choice to branch your pokemon out with split evolutions for instance gives more variety and it leads to more potentially interesting outcomes. I'm not for either. But having fakemon is an opinion at the current rate real pokemon aren't real anymore. You can only make your argument by claiming it is shit. Which is really not all that valuable. Saying fake moves and abilities and type combination are shit on virtue is dishonest.
