I had to fine tune my team so much for this fight, what gave me the extra edge needed for victory was remembering that Empoleon gets Vacuum Wave, I still have no fucking clue what the fuck was that bug involving Eruption and other Fire moves on the burning field, logistically there shouldn't be an issue, even when my Typhlosion was at high health, Eruption was still doing no damage whatsoever, thankfully Lava Plume did the trick really well and I have bought a few colbur berries before leaving for Agate, the fight with Fern and Blake was really rocky and me having to essentially play 1v2.5 was miserable, Honchkrow had to carefully pick targets down, H.Electrode had to take the right moments to blow the fuck up or spam Discharge for the area damage, Delphox had to pick her matchups well and it was amazing at baiting the AI into going for Sucker Punches, sadly item stealing wasn't as prevalent during this fight, wanna hear something really funny? The Dragapult only had Poltergeist and since Delphox wasn't carrying an item normally it effectively couldn't hit it. I EV'd Duraludon on special defense and it became an impenetrable wall of draconic steel that stood against everything throw at it, Empoleon was the clutcher, bulky enough to survive whatever hits were thrown against it, good matchups into most of the fights and that Vacuum Wave sealed Blake and Solaris' fates, fuck I love these bros and lasses, so much.
