I don't *mind* the game being visually underwhelming, per se, but when the region is so empty, there's little to no exploration and even the online sucks, it turns the whole thing into a lacklustre experience. I did enjoy SwSh, don't get me wrong, but it could've been so much more than it was was. Even just 6 months more development time would've helped, but then they couldn't have gotten it out for Christmas. I was upset about the Dex-cut over the summer, but it turned out to be the least of the game's issues.
