Since I don't know if anyone answered my question in the previous thread, I'd like to pose it again.
What are some of the tropes that appear most often in by-the-numbers trainer fics, example being waking up in the morning to get a starter? I'm already using tropes from the games (like the free Pokemon Centers) to create political wedge issues in my story, but I'd like to expand my scope a bit. I think using trainer fic tropes as issues as well would be an effective way to start setting up a class-warfare scenario.

I do think that someone interested in that genre would like it, though. It's well-made.
