Actually its not. That has been proven. Johtos regional dex includes 251 pokemon. The biggest until bw2.
There are 100 johto mons and 151 kanto so yea kanto mons might be more noticable. Not a problem.

The average BST of johto mons is almost identical to kanto and hoenn. This is just false.

Theyre past the halfway point of the game to give player new things to discover after beating lance. Remember that johto mons were newly discovered. They didnt want to blow their wad on the first half of the game.
