>>53226754As much as I love Hoenn, it would probably be too hot for me, hence why my favorite is Sinnoh.
>>53227121Well, when you have to retcon the types of already existing Pokémon, there's not much you can do.
>>53227226>Bug typesIf I'm ever Isekaied to the Pokémon world, I'll hope you're wrong, because while I don't have it in me to try to catch and raise bugs irl, I quite like a few of them (mostly, moths and centipedes).
>duality of manRight? It's not like I can't see where Anon is coming from, specially after Gen8, but at the same time, it was also Gen8 that had Leon running around dealing with rampaging Pokémon and such, robbing the player of the action. That said, it could also be just bias of my part, since the heavy soccer/football theming around GYMs was one of the things I hated the most in Gen8, so I *really* don't want to think of Leaders, Elite4 and Champions as mere "sport stars".
>>53227340Considering how construction is such a heavy work, I wouldn't be surprised if the experience gained from that alone was enough to make Timburr evolve.
>>53227366You kill the previous Leader and takes their place.
Serious answer: While it's mostly hereditary like the other Anon said, in Gen8 we see the Fairy old lady taking Bede as her successor, so essentially each GYM Leader probably nominates their successor (be them from family or not), but if they retire/leave without nominating anyone, the Pokémon League will probably have a list of strong trainers and invite them to the position (at least that's how I imagine Green became the Leader after Giovanni left).
>>53229307Frosmoth is native from Galar tho, could I at least get it?
But yeah, I don't particularly hate any region, but Galar is most likely the one I like the least, for a reason I mentioned before in this post, so I would just settle down in Ballonlea and have a few mushroom Pokémon (and probably work selling medicine made from the spores of said Pokémon or something).
