>>54601961>making competitive pokemon more accessible Two issues, its too accessible and contributes to people who only play the game for competitive and not the game aspect. Second would be that the game component is lost as a result.
For example, breeding is nearly obsolete and if what khu said turns out to be true it will be basically completely obsolete outside of aesthetic flair of certain shinies.
Competitive pokemon now has people that literally only play showdown and only showdown and buy the games purely to compete not actually play them. It is very sad to think that pokemon needs to lose the things that make it into a monster raising game to appeal to this sort of people.
I do not think everything SV added to trivialize making competitive pokemon is a bad thing but I do think some went way to far.
>almost every evolution or held item is buyable in shops with LP or moneyThis is mostly fine, albeit a little excessive for certain things. Most of the better held items, such as weakness policy or heavy duty boots should be buyable but by grinding a battle facility which starts piss easy and gets harder the farther you go.
>bottle caps and muntd are buyable with moneyThis should have been limited to LP only and a battle facility should have been added to grind lp alongside raids and tm loot. This been buyable with money is COMPLETELY excessive and overflows the player with resources. The way SWSH/BDSP did it was fine, especially with how home stores BP for you.
>sandwich powersThe fact that I can flood the landscape in whatever specific pokemon I want, even the ones that are supposed to be rare like frigibax, is fucking stupid and retarded and should not be allowed. Exp candy should also not be as plentiful as it is until post game.
Lastly, anyone who thinks the DLC should not have a battle facility is not anyone who has an opinion that should be taken seriously. Even if over half of OPs post is retarded garbage about weeaboo shit, yours is worse
