The image you provided is a phenomenal example of a darker skinned person with straight hair and similar features, something uncommon of people of African and American descent who will inevitable declare that this is them and their "culture." I suppose the white American backlash on this is simply from fatigue from a louder neighbor. That being said if she were black due to French influence on Louisiana paired with a motif of electro swing I guess her design would make sense.
