You'd still be free to discuss pokemon, but it would clean up the place. it would stop rampant shitposting on /v/, and i would give /vp/ more life.
Right now threads are lasting 3-5 days because of how inactive this place is, and sun and moon isnt nearly enough to spark it back up a all we have is leaks and baseless rumors.
By making this a dedicated nintendo board we also get rid of all the furry and borderline pornography threads that end up clogging the board up. It also would freely open discussion for crossovers and similar franchise discussion without being considered "off-topic"
