His stats are impressive, he usually knocks out most pokemon in one hit, learns leech life, and has enough bulk to tank a few hits before his ability activates. Even then, whenever it does activate, it's usually for my benefit.
But yeah, I agree, he would be better if he at least has a hidden ability that could make him more competitively viable (even though I don't really play comepetitive, I just like building pokemon)
