Now that fusion and more complex evolutions exist, why doesn't Slowpoke evolve by bonding with a Shellder? And why can't a Nidoking breed with Nidoqueen? Where, after all these gens, are the baby Kangaskhan, the male Kangaskhan, or the Cubone without a skull?
