How will this affect the mainline games?
The constant updates to include new mons/forms is one of the things that make GO so successful. Even if they slow down, they'll eventually catch up with the main series and run out of pokémon to add. And TPC can't just ignore GO because at this point it's far more popular than the mainline series.
Do you think we might start getting a bunch of new pokémon/forms released simultaneously in GO and in the mainline games via patches every few months? How would you feel if instead of 80+ new pokémon, every new gen introduced only like 50 or so, and slowly added 30+ more as the generation progressed?
