Reducing the back spike size and then putting them across his entire backside with one coming up on his front face would've done miracles for it.
It's like all the problems with gen 1, gen 5 and gen 6+ designs all in one singular pokemon, it lacks details, it has a random shape that kinda fucks it over and then it has random details where it doesn't need any while having next to zero muscle shape, his arms are just stubs.
