The way this game handles it is pretty fun since you can dodge attacks with it or decide to use that same mega energy for plus moves instead; plus it's not locked behind postgame so you can use it during your adventure and fight other people who do the same. The trainer and pokemon dynamic feels better than it's ever been with this battle system, I think
