>>48029537I see. Personally I don’t care for those other labels but I dislike people trying to separate pokemon simply because I think it goes against everything this franchise has shown. Other franchise do separate their character such as digimon having a beast/animal type with Digimon like Renamon in there. But no such divisions exist in Pokemon.
https://m.bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Human-Like_(Egg_Group)The closest thing we get is this egg group that is pretty varied. Pokemon like Toxtcirity and Toxicroak are exclusive to this egg group and you have a wide variety of Pokemon that overlap with it with another egg group. There’s no human pokemon, just pokemon. This is how you get the screen cap of mr mime eating off the floor, he’s a pokemon just as vulpix or eevee, he’s no more human than any of them. They also show pairings like a machoke falling in love with an Alteria. Little things like that show how interconnected the pokemon are. Even when acknowledging those types of fans they put Glaceon in the fan service scene along side fan favorites. Anyone knows what they meant in this scene.
As I said before there really isn’t any justification in trying to divide the pokemon when the franchises itself doesn’t support it. It’s why I think pokemon should be seen as their own thing rather than trying to divide them into labels like “furry” or “monster girl”, labels that don’t really fit into the framework of pokemon.
