I've always wanted MissingNo as a legendary. Bring it back as a glitchy, frighteningly out-of-place pokemon capable of altering reality because its broken rules are different from the world it exists in. It's kind of a dumb idea but lends itself to some cool possibilities:
>Lore it up as a failed attempt at creating another artificial, digital Pokemon, like Porygon. The evil team's hubris made them try to make the most powerful pokemon ever, but they couldn't perfect its code before giving it life, causing it to become corrupt.
>When it escapes, it starts changing the world because its faulty code is effecting reality around it, causing the overworld to fluctuate between current-gen graphics and Gen I graphics (with music to match)
>Its model is literally the rectangular-ish MissingNo. glitch sprite from Gen I, with a 2-D effect like some Food items in Super Smash Bros.
>Its battle music is harsh chiptunes
